In addition to programmatic support provided by the UC MBEST Center, the UC Santa Cruz Extension classes, and the Marina Small Business Incubator, amenities currently provided by the UC MBEST Center includes:

• an atrium/interactive space with kitchen facility,

• and the close adjacency of the Fort Ord Natural Reserve.

The MBEST Center's modern buildings have highly flexible interior spaces, high-speed Internet access, and convenient parking. Airport access is nearby.

The Marina Municipal Airport with a runway that is soon to be extended to 5,000 feet, is immediately adjacent to the MBEST Center. The Monterey Peninsula Airport, which is served by American Airlines, America West, and United Airlines, is located 10 miles to the south, and the San Jose International Airport is located 70 freeway miles to the north.

Many world-class and local hotels and restaurants plus a wide selection of conference facilities are available in the greater Monterey Peninsula area within a few minutes' driving time. Spectacular scenery and recreational opportunities of the Monterey Peninsula, Big Sur Coast, Santa Lucia mountains and Salinas Valley can be found within one hour's drive of the MBEST Center.
